AG JLC 2016::AG JLC

The Young Food Chemists’ Association is part of the German Society of Food Chemistry, which is a division of the German Chemical Society. Being the representatives of university students, food chemists in their practical training and young professionals of food chemistry in Germany, we focus on

  • supporting the interests of the new generation of academics 
  • facilitating communication between students of different universities.
To fulfill these aims, we constantly expand our information network and motivate students to join and actively participate in the German Society of Food Chemistry. Furthermore, we seek to promote the job profile of food chemists, thereby improving career opportunities for our members.
