Our local student working group is made up of students, graduates, doctoral researchers as well as graduates in their practical year and currently consists of 20 to 25 members.
Besides monthly informal get-togethers where topical issues are discussed, we also organise freshmen meetings every year and act as contact persons for questions regarding the entire course of study.
On top of that, we plan various events such as workshops for regional conferences of the LChG (Food Chemical Society) or excursions to local companies like “Martin Bauer Group”, “Der Beck” or “Schwan Stabilo”.
The group holds information evenings that face questions such as: ‘What are the fields I can work in once I´ve graduated?’, or ‘How can I obtain a PhD in Erlangen and which fields are currently researched?’
We´d like to participate in the information event for potential students, where our members will be happy to answer study-related questions.
